Welcome to Austria. Today we are travelling from Rosenbach, on the Slovenian border near Jesenice, to Villach the second largest city in Carinthia. Here we join EC114 "Worthersee"- Klagenfurt to Dortmund, for our run over the Tauernbahn to Bad Gastein, our first stop north of the Tauern tunnel. The traffic is international - at one point we overtake an Italian E412 with an international wagon-load train that is taking advantage of the OBB's bi-directional signalling. TTR116 continues north to Salzburg. The Tauernbahn is spectacular and we enjoy beautiful sunny weather. RT 94mins
