TTR130 OBB REX Cabride+ Vienna to Bratislava hl.  Today's journey starts at the Südbahnhof which, at the time of filming in early autumn 2009, was being demolished around us to make way for the new Vienna central through-station. We head east crossing over the Danube and then through the eastern suburbs of Vienna and over the flat Marchfeld to Marchegg, the last station on the OBB network. After Marchegg we cross into Slovakia on a low bridge over the river March joining the Slovenske Železnice  SŽ - mainline just north of Devínska Nová Ves . From there it's a 15 minute run to the Slovakian capital Bratislava - our journey ends at the main station hl. Our train is the 09 28 from the Südbahnhof and we are due in Bratislava, 66 kilometres distant, at 10.37. We are travelling in the cab of an OBB class 2016 Hercules locomotive manufactured by Siemens. Filmed in HD. Narrated. RT 60 mins
