TTR120  Italy part 1. We continue our exploration of the Brenner railway that links the northern German ports with Verona and points south. Our main calling points are: Fortezza, Brunico - on the line to Lienz and Villach in Austria - Bressanone, Bolzano, Trento, Rovereto, Domegliara and then Verona itself. We film along the line and at several of the towns themselves to give a real Italian flavour. Traction seen includes:  Trenitalia E405, E412, E414, E625, E655, E444, D345, and E652. plus many others and Euroloks from Siemens and Bombardier, and a range of multiple units new and (very) old.  For history buffs we visit the Societ? Automobilistica Dolomiti a lovely preserved tramway (Rittnerbahn) that has the unfortunate acronym SAD! also the TT Ferrovia Trento Mal? a thriving metre gauge line that runs into the Dolomites. The mountain countryside is spectacular and again our Austrian cameraman knows where to get the best views!. We conclude the film with a tour of lovely Verona.
