In stock, immediate despatch
We start at Biel on the northern shore of the Bieler See and follow the lake south to Neuchâtel and explore this very French town, then make a diversion to La Chaux-de-Fonds to see some narrow gauge freight being transferred. Back on the lake side, Lac de Neuchâtel this time, we view the NBS / ABS between Bevaix and Grandson. We spend a little time around Grandson - well it's just so photogenic, then head south through Yverdon-les-Bains to Lausanne. The rest of the film is spent alongside the lake - Le Léman or Lac de Genève. We visit the town and the station St-Prex - where we see recycled glass being railed into Votropack, Neon and naturally Genève. We travel west of that very international city to watch TGVs cross the border into France. East of Lausanne is one of the most attractive stretches of railway line in Europe from Cully to Vevey we watch the trains run alongside the lake from vantage points in the vineyards - it's a tough job but someone has to do it!
