Out & About Stockholm 2016
We visited Sweden's first city in 2004, a lot has changed on the public transport network since! The central station has been rebuilt and the City Tunnel line is nearing completion. New trains and operating companies (such as MTR Express)provide long distance services.
In 2004 the only tramway was a tourist line that ran alongside the old harbour. By 2016 the tourist line had been extended and joined by two light-rail systems that together loop 2/3 of the city providing radial connections to the metro and ‘S-Bahn’. The two older light rail suburban lines :the standard gauge Saltsjöbanan and the 891mm Roslagsbanan have been modernised, and plans are in hand for another line (standard gauge) to fill in the gaps.
For fans of the unusual there is a new funicular that runs up the quirky Globe City “golf-ball”. This film does not follow the usual O&A formula, for instance there are no ‘trips out of the city’ but concentrates on the integrated public transport options in the city – especially the ones developed since 2004.

Faulty items If an item is found to be faulty or incorrect please contact us to arrange a return. If the item is faulty a replacement will be sent, if the item is not what you ordered, the correct one will be sent.
If you are unhappy with a product it can be returned to us (in mint condition) within 14 days for a refund. Returning items is at the consumer's cost.
